Does Size Matter

When painting with oils the canvas needs to prepared properly.  Don’t assume if a canvas is double primed with a universal primer that it is suitable for oil painting. This is a test I carried out with a scrap piece of canvas. As you can see the oil has stained the back of the canvas.
